What I Sent My Package Pal

Oh my gosh!  I love the Package Pal exchange that Jamie over at C.R.A.F.T.  hosts every other month!

It is so much fun!  Who doesn't love getting a present in the mail full of fun stuff?
My Package Pal was Loy, from Grandma Loy's Kitchen.  You should click on that link and check it out.  There are so many amazing recipes (one of my favorites is Streusel Banana Nut Bars ...just click it...you know you want to!) and even some great tips like How to Grow Green Onions......in water....IN YOUR KITCHEN!!

We have become bloggy friends and really, that is the best part of Package Pals!  So, I'm going to show you what I got from her tomorrow.....but today, I'll show you what I sent her.
Let's have a little closer look at some of the bounty.......

I sent her a little spring wreath that I made.  (It was one of my all time favorite projects to do!)  I sent her some stickers that said various things as well as a pack of spring colored sticky notes.  I made that little matchbox with the heart on it and I put something cute and small in it for her....but I can't for the life of me remember what it was!!!
I sent her the little bird tin that was a joint project with my friend Judy in Arizona, so there is some double love in that, as well as something else that I also can't remember! (What is wrong with me today???!!!)  Loy doesn't craft a lot, but I sent her 3 rolls of Washi Tape.....the perfect and easy way to dress up something!  There are 3 little gourds, grown here on my farm, dried and cleaned, sitting in a little burlap and satin ribbon tin I made.  Because Loy loves to cook,  I made her a little beaded recipe card holder out of a fork.  I threw in a pack of cute strawberry note cards, because I really liked them (and I really like her!).
There is an old skeleton key that may inspire her.  A cute little green tin bird, a mini journal, a mini chalk board, a magnetic weekly calendar and a few note cards that I made when I was on a card-making kick.
And I managed to get it all in this lovely Dandelion covered box which I hope stayed intact for the journey half way across the country!
I hope Loy enjoys the things in this box, and if any of the items are not quite her style, I hope she enjoys giving them to someone she loves!
I received my package from Loy today (felt just like Christmas!) and I will be sharing what was in it tomorrow, but let me just tell you this......I got the best package pal!!!  Just wait until you see what she sent me!  I sat at my kitchen table for a couple of hours just playing with some of the stuff and hated having to put it away to start dinner!  But, I've got all day tomorrow to play with it some more!!

If you think you might like to give Package Pals a try, there will be another sign up at the end of this month for June, so hop on over to C.R.A.F.T. and follow Jamie, so you'll know when the sign up is.....and you'll want to know, because it's only open to the first 100 people who sign up!!
Have a great day and Oh Loy, thank you for the most awesome package!!!
