10 Minute Washi Flag

I'm still on a patriotic project kick and this project is one of my easiest ever!

Remember this project?
Well, if you don't, I used double stick tape for the little sign and basic craft paint for the sun.  I loved it, but I was done with it.  I pulled off the tape, washed off the paint (took all of 1 minute to do both) and had a blank white tile to use for my new project.

I got out my red and blue Washi tape that I picked up at Target for a mere $4.00 for a package of 4 rolls and just eyeballed where I wanted my stars and stripes.
It took me 10 minutes and I was done.  I probably should have used a ruler and made it all perfect, but then it wouldn't have taken me 10 minutes now would it?
You would think that I'm about done with patriotic crafts.....I mean how much red, white and blue can a girl have in her decor????
Welllllllllllll......I have a few more, so stay tuned!  I'm saving the best for last!

  2. Cool flag! What section of Target do you find Washi tape?? I'm gonna have to go out and get myself some. You've inspired me :)

I checked out your friend Melissa's blog and your right, her vase is beautiful! This means that I'm going to torture myself ONE MORE TIME, using another salsa jar, and see what happens.

    Have a great weekend :)

  4. I love me some washi tape projects! Do you put this tile on an easel for display and change it seasonally?
I have not used the tape from Target yet, but thanks for the tip about it!
