I'm moving on from Valentine's Day. I just have to, even though I have projects I didn't post. My friend Donna from Distressed Donna Down Home kindly reminded me that Easter is early this year....end of March. I have plenty of Easter projects, but I don't want to skip St. Patrick's Day. Do you decorate for St. Patrick's Day at all?
If you need a little inspiration to get you going, I'll share my last years projects, including my most popular post ever. Let's start with that one......
I do not really know why that is my most popular post, maybe because it is also a tutorial on how to make a basic burlap wreath.
I loved this little sign made from a piece of scrap molding. My pictures were pretty bad back then, but I was pretty new at blogging.
If you want to know what I used to make this, you'll have to read the post. But I will tell you it was inexpensive (maybe a dollar) and you can find them everywhere right about now.
Bending a fork was so much easier than I thought it would be! I had a lot of fun making this one!
This Ribbon Shamrock was probably my favorite St. Patrick's Day project last year. I may give it a little makeover for this season.
This was another 1 minute project that would be simple to do on any smooth surface. It's also very temporary and can be reused.
Well, that's about it for my offer of inspiration. If you didn't see anything here that motivated you, the blog world is vast and full of all kinds of St. Patrick's Day projects......go find a few and be creative! You don't have to be Irish to get your green on!

Are you serious LOL ???
ReplyDeleteIt's not even Valentine's day yet -
At this rate you're going to start posting next Christmas in June!
I do love them all though - have to check out that wreath further!
Hugs,
Suzan
Love that wreath!
ReplyDeleteOh, I've never seen anything like that clover wreath, that's awesome.
ReplyDeleteI used to decorate for all of the holidays, but since my kids are grown now, I've kind of slacked off. I love your wreath though, and if I were going to do a project, I think it would be a wreath. I like wreaths :)
ReplyDeleteNeat stuff. I don't decorate for St. Patrick's Day. I don't do Valentine's either. Especially since the kids grew up, I'm just not much of a holiday decorator, except Christmas. Like everyone else, though, I really like the wreath!
ReplyDeleteDo I recognize that wreath? I was not blogging last St. Pat's so I have not seen this beauty. Love the bent fork tine easel. Thanks for the shout out. There is one waiting for you on my Be My Vintage Valentine post. I am off the search for four leaf clovers. (Much better than ordinary shamrocks!)
ReplyDeleteThat wreath is so cute Danni! I see why it was the most popular.
ReplyDeleteCan you use stainless forks or do they need to be silverplate? I know you can't stamp onto stainless. You are a crafting man-i-ac. Love it!
The wreath is most definitely the best ! Thanks for the inspiration, Danni :-)
ReplyDeleteSo many inspiring projects for my favorite holiday. :)
ReplyDeleteDanni, I enjoyed reading about all of your past St Patrick Day projects. I had just started blogging back then and hadn't found you just yet. Last years posts are very cute and inspiring. I'm sure you'll have some awesome ones this year. I usually skip right over this holiday because my son was born on March 17 and we always celebrated his birthday instead. Maybe I'll do something on cherry blossoms. They're really big in this area. I'm so looking forward to spring!!!
ReplyDeleteI love St Patty's Day, it does of course share my favorite color. GREEN! You never fail to impress with your darling projects. That beaded fork is adorable! I may have to try one of those. :)
ReplyDeleteI sure do decorate for St. Patrick's day! Love all these projects and I'm pinning!
ReplyDeleteSt Paddy would love it. I'm half Irish and I don't and this year I realised my kids really don't know anything about their Irish heritage which is kind of sad, apart from the fact the their grandmothers family came from Ireland after ww2
ReplyDeleteTop of the evening to ya!...In my best Irish Brogue!;)
ReplyDeleteI can see why the wreath is a big hit..it's GORGEOUS! I absolutely love it! Yes, 2013 is crazy...Feb has two holidays on top of each other and so does March! Time to move on!
cause it's a darn cute wreath!! Love the fork. Love your cute ideas! Now I gotta start preppping for St. Patty's...you're right about Easter. Me and the hubby are both Scotch Irish...does that count as being Irish? I think so. WASP Irish I guess.
ReplyDeleteLots of great green projects here! Wonderful post!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have a weekly linky party called TUTORIALS TIPS AND TIDBITS... I would love you to share these clever and creative St Paddy's Day projects! Link is live now!
I love LOVE that wreath! -Marci @ Stone Cottage Adventures
ReplyDeleteWow, Danni, you sure are ahead of yourself this year :)))) I think the burlap wreath is VERY beautiful and that's why it's also so popular. And still: Happy Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteLove the fork!! (love all, but especially the fork)
ReplyDeleteMy Ryder's birthday is right after St P's day so I'm always caught up in it. Love your crafts. ~ Paula

ReplyDeleteHi Danni, beautiful burlap & clover wreath! Thanks for stopping by www.ourlittlehome98208.com and following through GFC! I'm following back :) Love that you're ahead of the game on St. Patty's day :)
ReplyDeleteThose are all very clever projects Danni.
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day!
I love St. Patty's day and all of your projects :) I was just writing down an idea that I want to do for it this year too. I better get to it.. Happy Valentine's Day!!
ReplyDeleteFun projects. I got all confused when I opened your pack and it was St. Patty's Day. You're not wasting any time, are you!? Actually, I'd happily skip February and move right into Spring any ol' time.
ReplyDeleteI can see why that wreath was so popular, Danni - it's gorgeous! Wow, I was so not even thinking about St. Patrick's Day and skipping ahead to Spring and Easter! Such adorable projects, I might have to put on the Easter breaks a little! :)
ReplyDeleteIt' so fun to see those projects Danni because I wasn't around this time last year. That wreath is just awesome, and I love the fork. Sooo cute!!
ReplyDeleteI've been planning on decorating for St. Patricks day since I missed it last year. Probably because I picked up junk all summer at garage sales.
ReplyDeleteBliss
I am not surprise that your wreath is so popular, it is gorgeous! I also love the pitcher :-).
ReplyDeleteVery cute ideas!
ReplyDeleteYes, I was planning on doing St Patty's day things, but didn't even realize how close Easter was this year. I'm going to have to rethink the timing of some of my projects.
ReplyDeleteI'd love if you shared these St Patty's ideas at my Show & Tell party this week. http://www.gingerlymade.com/2013/02/show-tell-13.html
Wonderful decorations:-)
ReplyDeleteYea St Pats Day... Luv it!
