HAPPY EASTER!
This is me and two of my 5 sisters, all decked out for Easter....like a hundred years ago! I'm the one with the funky purse, stringy hair and knobby knees! But hey...I'm all about accessorizing!
Put on your Easter bonnet (with all the frills upon it) and enjoy your day!
What a cute photo! {see I DO have an alert on your posts..lol!!!}
ReplyDeleteYou are a total cutie pie and so are your sisters! -Marci @ Stone Cottage Adventures

ReplyDeleteKnobby knees are awesome especially as we age
ReplyDelete, right! Happy easter
Did your mother twist your hair into pin curls the night before? Love the photo - I do not think I have one of me and my two brothers with all of us smiling.
ReplyDeleteLove those Easter hats! I miss Easter hats on little girls. Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteAnd no one is crying!LOL One of us was always crying.
ReplyDeletePrecious picture and cherish moment to remember the sweet old days
ReplyDeleteLook at you with your cute little purse and Easter bonnet! Didn't we all feel so grown up and lady like in our finery? The outfits never made it through the day in that condition but it didn't stop our mothers from doing it all over again the next year.
ReplyDeleteAmazing, your smile looks just the same! happy Easter dear friend xxx
ReplyDeleteOh, I love that photo, Danni! Wasn't getting the new Easter hats and little purses so much fun? I hope you had a happy and blessed Easter and enjoy the week ahead! ~Cindy@littlemisscelebration.com

My mom used to make my dad an Easter shirt, and then with the leftovers I got an Easter dress, and a purse, she always let me buy a purse!

Gorgeous little thing you were.
ReplyDeleteYou were all so adorable! I love your Easter Bonnets, but I think you exaggerate. It wasn't a hundred years ago...not even 50 years ago (well, maybe close)! lol
ReplyDeleteI remember Grandma would take Mom, my brother, sisters and I to the top of the Eaton's building in Toronto for lunch every Easter break for lunch (Dad was working). It was the first place I tried cherry cheese cake...and it's my favourite ever since. Anyway, we always wore our bonnets and new spring dresses. Such a special time.
Wow, what a wonderful picture...I'm sure it brings back amazing memories!
