Photo Jars

This is a sweet project I found on Pinterest.  It came from an awesome girl named Donatella at Inspiration & Realisation and you can visit the original blog here. She did a display of all of her pets in photo jars and it was really neat.
My daughter-in-law gave me some pictures of my grandkids a while back and they were those sepia-tone photos from an old time photo place.  They were so sweet, but I just had no frame that they looked right in.  They lived on my fridge for awhile, just stuck on by magnets.  I decided to try Donatella's idea with them.  I think they turned out pretty good......
This was such an easy project.....seriously, it took me like 1/2 an hour start to finish.  Here is what I did:
I gathered my supplies.

Supplies:  Photos, Jars, Tacky Glue, Cording, Beads.

First, glue some cording around the top (lid area) of your jar.  This is going to be the bottom when you are done.

Then turn it upside down and glue your beads to the top.  I used a small large bead and then a smaller one on top of the large one.  I used tacky glue because I might want to change the beads when I put different pictures in, but if you want a more permanent fix, use E-6000.  I don't know anything that works better on glass.
Now, just gently roll your photo a little and ease it into the jar.  I messed around with the bend, but I liked it toward the back best.

This is my granddaughter Mikayla...isn't she gorgeous??!  This was a fast and fun project and you could change it up so many different ways, not to mention change out the photos in a flash.  This is one more project crossed off my Pinterest Bucket List!  Yay!
