PEPPERMINT POLES......yummmmm!

I'm telling you right from the start, I did not make these.  But I love them and I have them around every year. You can see how inexpensive they are....bonus!

I don't love peppermint anything.  I don't love candy canes.  But.....I love these chocolate dipped very thin little peppermint poles.  They come individually wrapped.

So...I made a little something to put them in so they are readily accessible to me and everyone else during the holiday season.
I had a couple of small thin glasses that candles came in.

I had this divine candy striped ribbon and little peppermint ornament that came from a gift bag someone had given me years ago.  (I never throw out that kind of cuteness!)
I pretty much just put the two together to make this........

Come on over....I'll share!

  5. That's a cute way to display them, Danni! I have never seen anything like that in our country, but even if we had them and I displayed them the way you do, the kids {or me..lol} will finish them in a day !

  16. Maybe it's the chocolate? I don't like peppermint that much either and I too like those. Why can't they make wintergreen, and spearmint and any other mint but peppermint at this time of the year?

  17. I'm the same way, I don't like peppermint except that really soft "old fashion" kind and these sticks, a restaurant in town used to give them after the meals and I would steal the boys (they were too little to know better). Yum! Really cute! You do something with stuff you save, I just let it pile up in a cabinet!

  18. I bought a container of these to set out for customers to help themselves to at my craft shows. I glued a large glass candle votive onto a pedestal candle holder and filled it with these. I need to go see what ribbon I have to put around it now that you've inspired me.
